The Revolutionary Series was created by Tenmile Distillery in Wassaic, NY to honor the upcoming 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. 'The Battle of Brooklyn' is the third extremely limited release (only 600 bottles total) in the series that follows 'The Chain That Saved America.' It's made from 100% NY State Barley, finished in a small 25-gallon first-fill bourbon barrel where it was aged for 4 years before bottling at 92 proof. Subtle aromas of vanilla, soft brown sugar and tobacco emerge on the nose and segue into the palate of sweet toffee, black pepper and toasted light brown sugar. Sip neat or with a single large rock.
