NY Distilling Co 'Chief Gowanus' New Netherland Traditional Gin - Brooklyn, NY (200ml)

Chief Gowanus gin was created with the help of Brooklyn-based beverage historian David Wondrich, who found a Dutch recipe dating back to 1809.  Un-aged, double-distilled NY-State Rye is put back in the pot and distilled for a third time with juniper and cluster hops then finished in oak barrels for 3 months. The result is a complex gin with subtle sweetness, floral notes and peppery finish. It makes a great variation in a martini, negroni or greyhound but also as a substitute for rye in a manhattan!
