The Reflets de Riviere, from the Goutorbe-Bouillot house in Epernay, is a blend of 60% Pinot Meunier, 20% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Noir, with 60% of the wine coming from a perpetual reserve started in 1980. This wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation, resulting in a toasty, rich champagne that maintains a backbone of ripe acidity. A great choice for those who enjoy an aged champagne, this cuvee is crisp and fresh on the palate with notes of meyer lemon and brioche.
