From Clos de la Briderie, a vineyard in Touraine operating since the 11th century when monks of the abbey of Marmoutier first planted vines, comes this delicious, frothy Crémant de Loire. This Champagne-method sparkling wine, a blend of Chenin Blanc (40%), Chardonnay (20%), Cabernet Franc (20%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), ferments with native yeast before aging for two years on the lees prior to disgorgement. A serious, concentrated dry sparkling wine with fine bubbles, stone fruit on the palate, and a hint of toast on the finish, this Crémant drinks just like a champagne.
