File Linie under the file tab of "happy accidents" - the defining oak-aging having occurred when its maker Jorden Lysholm filled five barrels with the stuff to ship to Asia (even back then the West was looking to crack the spirits market in the East!), but it didn't fly, so back it came, all nice and oak-aged after months of shipping transport. The result: rich, rounded texture with flavors of anise and aquavit's trademark caraway. Grab some gravlox, a wee little glass, and enjoy it Norwegian-style.
