CloseRogue Vine, led by Leo Erazo and Justin Decker, is a project that's dedicated to making wine from organically grown, old vine, hillside, dry farmed, bush trained vines, some as old as 300 years! Jamon Jamon is a fairly funky, aromatic orange Moscatel from vines planted in 1960 in the Guarilihue region of Itata. It’s macerated on the skins for seven weeks and fermented spontaneously before aging in a mix of concrete and old wood barrels. It's bright and fresh with floral, orange blossom aromas, key lime, tangerine and lychee flavors with a firm, grippy finish. Pairs perfectly with all types of Jamon, nutty sheep’s milk cheeses like Ossau Iraty or a Cajun seafood boil.
