At Domaine Ozil, peaches, olives, lavender, and a wide array of vegetables grow alongside the vineyards on the rolling hills of the Ardeche. Despite farming produce for generations, it wasn't until 2013 that brothers Jean Daniel and Thomas Ozil began to craft their own wines. From an organic vineyard, this 100% Grenache Blanc is hand harvested and direct pressed into neutral oak barrels where it sits briefly before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfites. Medium-light bodied, this layered wine begins with bright acidity and aromas of fresh lemon peel that evolve into a toasty palate with ripe peach, baking spice, and finishes with a hint of raw honey, minerality and subtle salinity. Enjoy alongside baked halibut with a honey soy glaze or a potato Crique (savory potato pancakes).
