Le Vin des Potes (“mates’ wine”) is the collaboration of mates, Basile and Yoan (former wine retailers and somms), with different winemakers to make unique, honest wines. Flat Nat comes from a collaboration with Brand Bros, Daniel & Jonas, natural winemakers from Bockenheim, Germany. It’s 100% Riesling, grown and vinified following biodynamic principles, fermented with natural yeast in stainless and then bottled while it’s still fermenting. So it's essentially a petnat that rests in tank longer than usual. This translates to a very moderate, cloudy fizz in a medium-bodied, bone-dry white with flinty mineral notes, toasted almond and a splash of cider. Pair with strong foods like blackened fish tacos or Thai papaya salad (Som Tam).
