Made by a cooperative between two Marche winemaking families whose sprawling vineyards include some of the land that surrounds the Castelli di Jesi and where Verdicchio was first produced in the 16th century. Organically grown and harvested by hand, this 100% Verdicchio is fermented in stainless steel for 18-20 days then rests on its lees with some bâtonnage. The bouquet boasts delicate white blossoms, lemon, and a whiff of wet stones. The wine is dry and light-bodied with refreshing acidity, stone fruit and citrus with a dash or bitters on the clean, crisp finish. Perfect for making mussels in white wine and drinking alongside it but versatile enough to pair with a range of foods from chicken Milanese to rainbow veggie kimchi fried rice!
