2022 Nanclares Y Prieto Pergola Dandelion Albariño - Rías Baixas, Galicia, Spain (750ml)

In 1992 Alberto Nanclares and his wife left their native Basque Country to retire in the seaside parroquia of Castrelo, near Cambados, a historic village for Albariño wines. As happenstance, the small home they purchased came with some vineyard land. Now Alberto specializes in producing refined, age-worthy, and terrier focused Albariños, all while employing organic practices in the field and a restrained hand in the cellar. This is a razor sharp wine with notes of lime and flint, and a slight creaminess. Pair with fish tacos or a burrata and tender herb salad.
