Madivin collaborated with female winemaker Mélusine, pictured on the label, to create this elegant blend of 98% Marsanne and 2% Roussanne from the Northern Rhone. Grapes are hand-harvested from organic vineyards, fermented, and aged nine months on lees with bâtonnage. The result is a voluptuous and medium-bodied white, with moderate acidity and subtle notes of pineapple and guava, toasted almond and honeysuckle. On the palate it has a slight minerality that leads into a long finish. Perfect pairing with pan seared citrus sea bass or scallops or a strong Savoyard cheese like an aged Tomme de Savoie or soft, pungent Reblochon.
