Named Full Circle in reference to the winemakers’ return to ancient winemaking techniques the region was known for in the middle ages, this light red is a blend of Indigenous Slovenian Frankinja (often called Blaufrankisch), and Gamay. The grapes are grown sustainably, and are fermented with no added yeast before bottling with no fining or filtration. The wine has youthful acidity and a soft texture, aromas of fresh red berries with notes of plum and a hint of pepper on the palate. Serve chilled with steak tacos or Štruklji (Slovenian rolled cheese dumplings).
