Kamptal is a subregion of Niederösterreich that experiences warm, Mediterranean-like winds during the day and cool air from the mountainous Northern Waldviertel at night. This 100% Zweigelt Pét-Nat expresses an aromatic nose full of red fruit and hibiscus. The palate shows expected Zweigelt personality, with raspberry and a touch of black pepper, all enveloped within a mousse of light bubbles. This is a food friendly sparkling and would go great with grilled veggies and spicy sausages.
