Oregon based natural winemaker Joseph Swick sources his grapes from organic and biodynamic vineyards around the colder parts of Oregon and Washington. The result is an array of vividly colored interesting wines made from unique grapes. Bring It is Joe’s project in blending that changes every year but represents each vintage as a whole. The 2021 is made from 60% Pinot Noir, 20% Syrah, 5% Grenache Noir, 5% Mourvedre, 5% Touriga Nacional, and 5% Gewurztraminer. The result is a unique, earthy wine with a medium body and moderate tannins, with notes of tart cherry and some funky aromatics from the Gewurztraminer. Great with warm and comforting foods like Okonomiyaki, or take Joe’s suggestion and try it with Beef Bourguignon.
