Located in Willamette Valley, Statera winery exclusively produces Chardonnay. Owned by two friends, Meredith Bell and Luke Wylde, the duo practice low intervention winemaking. They are certified biodynamic & organic and only use fruit sourced from vineyards that they have long-term contracts with. This Imber blend uses grapes from the five vineyards they worked with in 2021. Made in a Chablis style, this wine is crisp and clean. Notes of nectarine, tart apple, and lime pith are met with minerality and a touch of salinity. The grapes are pressed whole cluster before fermenting for 12-16 months in old French barriques. For this vintage, only 98 cases were produced! Pair with a Thai crab curry or Chaource, a creamy Burgundian cheese made from cow’s milk.
