Grown among picturesque ravines, castles, and old villages in the Roero hills of Piedmont, this Arneis (literally little rascal in the local dialect) is bright and fresh with chiseled minerality. Grown organically and fermented with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tank, this is a light to medium bodied crisp white with citrus and stone fruit flavors followed by just a touch of salinity and an enticing herbal, chamomile note. Pairs well with octopus, branzino or a hard, salty cheese like a Grano Padano from the neighboring province of Lombardy
