This natural red is the collaborative effort between Fifi Imports and Domaine Léonine. Made from 100% organically grown Grenache on varied soil of granite, clay, gravel and sand, it's hand-harvested by the Fifi folks, among others, and naturally fermented in whole clusters in fiberglass tank. The grapes have a short maceration, followed by neutral barrique through the winter then bottled with no fining or filtration. Wild, fresh strawberry is the dominant aroma. On the palate, it is medium bodied with gentle tannins, red and dark berry flavors, an herbal touch of thyme and some funky, barnyard notes. Pair alongside a braised pork with dates, charcuterie or Paté de Campagne.
