This fun and wild rosé comes from young Vigneron Joe Chandellier, who farms five hectares in the Languedoc using all Organic practices and minimal intervention in the cellar. It’s a blend of 60% Carignan and 40% Syrah from 90 year old vines that is direct pressed together and aged in neutral fiberglass vat. The wine is lively and vibrant, with notes of forest berries, nervy acidity, and a textured, tannic finish. Pairs well with artichokes off the grill or an at-home remake of Win Son’s Nutritious Sandwich - crispy mortadella and pickled pineapple between shrimp cakes.
