2021 Cascina 'Tavijn Teresa Ruché - Piedmont, Italy (750ml)

Teresa, named after winemaker Nadia Verrua’s mother, is a hearty and warm medium-bodied red, rich with aromas of cherry blossom, anise, and earth mingling with a palate of wild blueberries and pine. The wine is made up of 100% Ruché, a Piemontese variety with intense, floral aromatics and pronounced spice. Teresa ages for a year in cement and steel before bottling. Round and full of ripe, dark fruit, this wine makes an ideal companion for Shanghainese red braised pork belly or a wild mushroom risotto.
