A Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend, this wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then racked into small neutral oak barrels for one year before being assembled and bottled. It is a benchmark grand vin de Bordeaux, from vineyards just outside of Margaux in Haut Medoc. Demonstrating balance, with firm tannins and notes of cassis and granite, this classic Left Bank Bordeaux pairs perfectly with a dry aged ribeye but would be an amazing accompaniment to a Christmas lamb roast.
