Kai is an organically grown, 100% Tocai Friulano that’s hand harvested, destemmed, and fermented spontaneously in open topped oak vats with no refrigeration for about four days on the skins. This an organic, no sufite added, revered orange wine. The skin contact creates an amazing cacophony of herbaceouness and fruitiness. It’s medium-bodied with pronounced salinity and notes of citrus peel, cardamom, and honeysuckle. Imagine orange blossoms floating in fino sherry.
