Tximista (the Basque word for lightning, pronounced chee-MEES-ta), is the first ever 100% Txakoli Vermouth available in the US! The base wine is made from 100% Hondarabbi Zuri grapes. It's aromatized with over 80 Spanish botanicals and fortified with Orujo (a Basque pomace brandy) and the color of this Rojo comes from caramelized sugar. Just moderately sweet, the natural salinity and acidity of the wine helps create a perfectly balanced vermouth for sipping over the rocks, in a hi-ball with soda water and a twist or using in your favorite cocktail.
