Tequila Arette is a practicing organic, family operated distillery nestled in the lowlands of Jalisco. Master distillers Eduardo and Jaime Orendain use 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave to handcraft their Reposado in small batches. After a 5-7 day fermentation in stainless steel and a double distillation, the Tequila rests in American white oak barrels for 6 months. Its rustic peppery nose leads into a balanced palate with delicate caramel sweetness and subtle tropical fruit notes with a nice, round texture and a kiss of vanilla and clove on the finish. Perfect in a Tequila Sunrise or swap out whiskey in a Oaxaca Old Fashioned with Arette Repo plus mezcal, agave nectar, Angostura bitters and an orange twist.
