CloseJulia was created by Kofi Gyekye, Alamay Getachew, and Alexandria Stanley with the idea that the spirit, history and culture of the African Diaspora are present in every bottle and carried through movement, memory and gathering. Though the gin is distilled in New York, the botanicals used in its creation are from all over the world: Ethiopian White Peppercorn, Malagasy Ylang Ylang, South African Rooibos, West African Wild Cherry Bark, Atlantic Sea Fennel, Bajan Grapefruit, and American Citra Hops. The culmination is a brightly floral gin with citrus aromas, an earthy palate with subtle black pepper spice, and a juniper finish. Elegant and fresh, Julia is perfect for a G&T, a White Negroni or the Golden Hour which combines Julia with a spoonful of honey, rooibos tea, and tonic.
