Agua Magica’s Ensamble is an artisan Mezcal crafted by Maestro Mezcalero Rogelio Juan Hernandez Zaragoza and his son Julio Juan, from a blend of Espadín & Tobalá. They respect the cycles of nature by using only mature Agaves, typically 7-year old Espadín and 15-year old Tobalá, which gives the earth time to regenerate, as the Maestros have done for hundreds of years. All plants are sourced from small, independent farmers in the prestigious region of San Juan del Rio, ensuring an equitable distribution of wealth. From the banana leaves used to cook the agave, stone tahona to mash the piñas, and water from the river to allow fermentation, always staying true to traditional practices over industrial techniques. At 40%, it’s an easy sipping, ultra-premium mezcal that offers a crisp, smooth, and flavorful experience, inspiring the palate with its complex layers.
