The 2024 Tropikaal Pét-Nat from P.A.N.K. is a vivid, refreshing expression of Hungary’s Balatonfelvidék region and the punk-fueled ethos of winemaker Attila Pálffy. Made from 100% Furmint grown on certified organic volcanic basalt, Pannonian limestone, and red sandstone soils, this pét-nat is unfined, unfiltered, and undisgorged with no sulfur added. After foot-stomping and basket pressing, the juice undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The result is a crisp, easy-drinking wine with a medium body and vibrant, mouthwatering acidity. Bursting with bright citrus notes of lemon-lime, grapefruit, and mandarin alongside ripe pineapple, a leesy, creamy texture, with a clean minerally finish. Pairs deliciously with kimchi, Rainbow Trout ceviche, or roast pork.
