CloseMade by Marc Houtin, Julien Bresteau, and Gérald Peau in the heart of Black Anjou, “Le Vin de Jardin” is a light, vibrant red from old-vine Grolleau grown on black schist soils. The vineyard is certified organic and biodynamic with hand harvesting and stringent sorting to ensure the wine only sees the ripest, purest fruit. Fermented whole-cluster for 10 days in fiberglass and aged six months also in fiberglass, the wine sees no additives and reflects the team's commitment to low-intervention, terroir-driven winemaking. This culminates in a medium bodied, chillable red with aromas of fresh, wild red berries and a touch of earthy barnyard coupled with notes of raspberry, cranberry, cherry, red currant, a signature Loire Valley minerality with light tannins and a balanced acidity throughout the palate. Pairs scrumptiously with Tuna Tartar, Thyme and Garlic baked Camembert, or marinated chicken skewers
