This amazing, quality/price Chardonnay comes from Kleine's dramatic vineyards situated on the rugged, stunningly beautiful western slopes of South Africa's Western Cape. It's fermented in stainless steel tank for 14 to 16 days then aged on the lees for 30 to 60 days with no oak maturation but with malolactic fermentation to provide body, depth, complexity and a slightly creamy texture. It's then flash pasteurized according to Kosher Mevushal specifications. Tropical, light and refreshing with ripe peach and a slight tang, it pairs perfectly with sauteed scallops, a tuna melt, or a grilled peach and Burrata salad.
