The Benazzoli sisters, Claudia and Giulia, are the fourth generation to run their family's winery, located in Trentino, with vineyards mostly in Bardolino, along Lake Garda’s eastern shore. All of their wines are made following the same philosophy: observe, listen, intervene only when necessary. Agata is an elegant, textbook, unfussy 100% Pinot Grigio planted on stony soils with excellent drainage. The grapes are hand-picked and lightly crushed prior to temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tank where the wine rests for about 6 months before bottling without fining or filtration. Elegant and pure, this crisp, light bodied white with fresh stone fruit flavors followed by notes of sage and fleshy yellow apple, pairs perfectly with Polenta Primavera or Cicchetti, the Venetian’s answer to tapas.
