Pierde Almas La Puritita Verdá Mezcal Joven - Oaxaca, Mexico (750ml)

Small batch produced in the hilltop village of San Balthazar in Oaxaca, the recipe for Pierde Almas has been passed down from generation to generation in Sanchez Altamirano's family. While not technically USDA certified Organic, the plantation is free from fertilizers and pesticides and Pierde Almas follows local organic practices. The nose is smoky with herbaceous, floral notes while the palate shows lime, roasted agave, and dried fruit with a hint of jalapeno flavor minus the spice.
