NV Gaston Chiquet Brut Rose - Champagne, France (750ml)

One of the oldest Champagne houses dating back to 1746, Gaston Chiquet was also a pioneer of the grower/producer movement - vinifying and bottling their own Estate-grown fruit since 1919. Certified sustainable, the Brut Rose is a classic blend of all three Champagne varietals - 40% Pinot Meunier, 35% Chardonnay & 25% Pinot Noir - entirely from 1er Cru or Grand Cru vineyards.  Aged on the lees for 2-3 years, it’s crisp and fresh with elegant notes of ripe red cherries and strawberries. Fine and persistent bubbles, the palate is smooth and offers delicate floral notes, subtle blackberry and a hint of lemon in the long finish. Pairs wonderfully with smoked salmon or chocolate strawberry Tiramisu.
