Mal Bien Joven Mezcal Espadin - Oaxaca, Mexico (750ml)

Mal Bien is a collection of Agave spirits that highlights small producers around Mexico. This Espadín is made by fourth generation Mezcalero Oscar Morales Garcia and follows the recipe developed by his father Don Lucio Morales López. The Agave is fermented with wild yeasts and crushed traditionally by tahona before being cooked in pit ovens and distilled in copper pots. Aromas of ground corn and pine are met with notes of leather, barley, and a hint of caramelized banana on the palette. At 91 proof, this is perfect for mixing into your Mezcal Negronis and Palomas, but is still complex enough to sip on its own or over ice with a lime.
