John Myer is a painter, poet, pianist, and master distiller whose family has farmed land around the Finger Lakes of New York since 1810. Myer Farm makes estate-grown, organic, field-to-flask whiskeys, vodka and gin, with a low carbon footprint. The mash bill here features 70% rye followed by respectively decreasing proportions of corn, barley and wheat. Aged for 22 months, and bottled without fining or chill-filtration. Notes of orange zest open to maple syrup and absinthe, creamed cereal and hot cinnamon. Traditional notes of rye grass and spice round out the palate of this impressive local spirit. 45% Alcohol / 90 Proof.
