2021 Vera Vinho Verde - Vinho Verde, Portugal (750ml)
Vera is a bit unique within the realm of Vinho Verde – it’s 100% estate grown fruit and has less residual sugar and carbonation than many. This difference in method results in a dry, medium bodied, balanced wine that still has the zippy characteristic that you love from the region. Made from 60% Arinto, 30% Azal, and 10% Loureiro all fermented in stainless steel, Vera has bright acidity with lively flavors of lime and ripe pink and yellow grapefruit. It’s a versatile wine that can go with most foods, but we like it with fish n’ chips or spinach and mushroom lasagna.

2021 Pomalo Plavina Pet Nat Rosé - Dalmatian Coast, Croatia (750ml)
Pomalo Wine Co. borrows their name from the colloquial term for relax, chill out, slow down used widely in coastal Croatia. Their rosé Pet Nat made from the Indigenous Croatian grape Plavina is perfect for the Pomalo attitude. The grapes are grown organically and ferment partially in stainless steel before a second fermentation in the bottle for six months with a rough disgorgement to remove some of the sediment. The result is a light, refreshing effervescent wine with restrained notes of pink grapefruit and ripe strawberry, and dry salinity. Drink as an aperitif while winding down alongside a salty hard cheese like comté.

2021 Ronchi Di Cialla Refosco Rosato - Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy (750ml)
Surrounded by chestnut, oak, and wild cherry groves in the hills between the Alps and the Adriatic in Northeastern Italy, Ronchi di Cialla got their start reviving varietals indigenous to Fruili. Certified as biodiversity friendly, they remain committed to using natural practices with minimal interference, having been one of the first winemakers to adopt integrated agriculture with low environmental impact. This 100% Refrosco dal Peduncolo rosato is the newest addition to their lineup. It’s light bodied and refreshing with fresh, wild strawberry flavors, nice minerality and balanced acidity. Perfect on its own as an aperitif, it also pairs well with linguine and clam sauce, or an array of Cicchetti, Venice’s answer to tapas.

2020 Eminence Road Farm Winery Pinot Noir Elizabeth's Vineyard - Long Eddy, New York (750ml)
Husband and wife team Andrew and Jennifer both left their jobs in bustling NYC to pursue a longtime passion for winemaking. They purchase fruit from vineyards that neighbor their home and cellar in Long Eddy, New York and bottle table wines in small lots. This Pinot from the Elizabeth’s Vineyard is light bodied, with an earthy character and dry, dusty tannins. Notes of black cherry, blackberries, sandalwood, and oak, with a fresh uplifting palate. Enjoy it with a slight chill next to wild mushroom ragu or char siu pork.
