The cane from which they make the molasses comes from all over Madagascar and is influenced by the various exotic plants that grow adjacent to the cane, like ylang-ylang, vanilla, clove, citrus and a wide array of peppers. The result is an unbelievably smooth, delicious and sippable dark rum that’s aged for three years in ex-Scotch barrels and boasts enticing vanilla creme brulee flavors with beautiful floral and spice elements. It’s great neat or with a rock but it also makes a perfect ‘Perfect Storm.’
