2020 Day Wines Vin de Days Rouge - Willamette Valley, OR (750ml)

Days Wines was founded and is operated by woman-winemaker Brianne Day in Oregon's Willamette Valley. The 2020 Rouge is a blend of 71% Pinot Noir, 16% Pinot Meunier, and 13% Pinot Gris which, having undergone partial carbonic maceration, results in a more vibrant, bright red fruit profile. Expect aromas of tart cherry and raspberry accompanied by a perfumed violet note. On the palate the wine is well-balanced with high, persistent acidity, gentle tannins, and racy red fruits silhouetting the flavor profile. Easily drinkable and approachable, pair this wine with pork roast, chicken breast with rosemary and thyme, or salmon with roasted shiitake mushrooms.
