2020 Chateau Maris Rose de Nymphe Emue - Languedoc, France (1.5Ltr Magnum)

This stunning magnum of 100% Grenache tête de cuvée rosé comes from the limestone rich foothills of the Montagne Noire (Montanha Negra in the local Occitan dialect) near Carcassonne, where the Mediterranean Sea, France, Spain and the Pyrenees converge. Fermented and aged for 6 months in concrete tank this biodynamic rosé displays notes of apricot, eucalyptus and raspberry bramble with a slightly silkier texture than a textbook Provençal rose. Pairs wonderfully with Gruyère potato gratin, a tropical fruit salad or better yet, fresh mango with tajin and lime.
