BREA is a collaboration between Chris Brockway, the founder and natural wine maker behind Broc Cellars, and Tim Elenteny, a NY Distributor, that was created to make site specific, terroir driven, sustainably farmed wines from classic varietals. Their Sta Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir is textbook Central Coast - fresh cherry/raspberry flavors, crisp acid, juicy but light with low tannins, some earthy minerality and a hint of green and white pepper. Harvested by the phases of the moon, 100% destemmed and fermented with native yeast this pure Pinot pairs perfectly with poultry or a moderate cheese like Morbier or Comté.
