From the stunningly beautiful Island of Madeira (about 300 miles off the coast of Morocco) This wine's unique character comes from an aging process known as 'Estufagem'. The process involves aging the wine in casks that stay in warm environments of up to 130 degrees. The wine is also exposed to oxygen during the process and Blandy's 10-year bottling is full of rich sweet caramel and coffee flavors. Perfect for after dinner. This bottle will keep for months after opening as it has already been oxidized.
