The Ippolito family has been farming and growing grapes on the land surrounding their coastal country house in Cirò since 1845. This long familial history of viticulture informs their commitment to the future of sustainable Calabrian winemaking. They use organic farming practices and are dedicated to Indigenous Southern Italian grape varietals, such as the Pecorello used to make this elegant and medium-bodied wine. The notes are of citrus, yellow-skinned fruit and saline minerality that comes sweeping off from the coast. A lovely aperitif alongside hearty cheese like Gorgonzola or Taleggio, or pair with gnocchi with blanched spinach and cream.
