CloseTrue to its name, Tutti Frutti Morango is ripe and juicy, teeming with dark, sunkissed berries. Born from a collaboration between three vignerons of three different nationalities in Banyuls, winemakers Manuel di Vecchi Staraz, Zé Tafé, and Joachim Roque teamed up to make the light and juicy wines they love to drink on the shores of the Mediterranean. Morango, meaning strawberry in Portuguese, is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre. The grapes are directly pressed, except for the Mourvedre, which undergoes carbonic maceration for 10 days, resulting in notes of lush fruit and soft tannins. Delicious and thirst quenching, this ‘glou glou’ style wine is a perfect summer picnic pairing – delicious with a big deli sandwich and potato chips.
