2022 Christina Zweigelt Rosé - Niederösterreich, Austria (750ml)

A winemaker born and raised, Christina Netzl has been making this line of Organic Natural wines in the village of Göttlesbrun in southern Austria since 2013. Her rosé is made from 100% Zweigelt grapes that see just a few hours of skin contact before fermentation in stainless steel tanks for two weeks, and rests on the lees for 2-3 months. The wine is bursting with aromas of fresh cherry fruit and has bright acidity and smooth tannins on the palate. An elegant yet fun rosé, pair it with watermelon salad with feta and mint, or smoked trout over curry fried rice.
