2021 Val di Toro Maremma Alfa Tauri Toscana Rosato - Tuscany, Italy (750ml)

Founded in 2003, Anna Maria Cruciata and her husband, Hugh Constable Maxwell, brought their passion to the Val di Toro estate in Maremma, along Tuscany's stunning coast. Farmed organically from the beginning, this 100% Sangiovese rosé is crisp and delicate with just a dash of citrus peel bitters on the finish. Light-bodied and dry, with notes of fresh cherry and strawberry, this pale salmon-colored rosé with a subtle copper inflection certainly holds its own with respect to its Provencal counterparts. Drink as an aperitif in the park, or pair it with a tangy, crunchy, citrusy salad.
