2021 Strekov 1075 Bob - Slovakia (750ml)

Strekov produces some of the leading organically farmed and natural wines in Slovakia, in a small village on the border of Hungary. Bob is the vineyard’s donkey, and this wine is just as wild and full of joy as he is. Made from Modrý Portugal, a native red varietal, Bob offers notes of blueberry, blackberry, and sour cherry, with a touch of smokey earthiness on the finish. Light-bodied, with moderate acidity and a slight effervescence, it is great with a slight chill. Enjoy with charcuterie, grilled bratwursts and sauerkraut, Bryndzové Halušky (potato dumplings with soft sheeps cheese and bacon).
