2021 Nicolas Reau Ange Anjou Rouge - Loire Valley, France (750ml)

This is a bright, fresh Cabernet Franc grown Biodynamically by winemaker Nicolas Reau who believes in letting the climate and vines guide the growing process, rather than the other way around. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented with wild yeasts before aging on the lees in half oak and half concrete, and bottled without fining, filtering, or sulfur. The wine is medium-light in body, juicy with notes of blackberries and black cherries, and white pepper. A great pick for your next wood-fired pizza night.
