2021 François Ducrot Auguste - Languedoc, France (750ml)

After discovering that several small scale organic farmers in the Languedoc were selling their grapes to be made into bulk wine, Ducrot began his career as a negociant, buying and vinifying these grapes into fun, vibrant wines. Auguste is 50% Grenache Blanc and 50% Grenache Gris that see 15 days of skin contact and are aged for four months in steel tanks. Overall a pretty clean Orange, it's medium bodied and crisp, with notes of almond and spice and a dry tannic finnish. Drink alongside pearl Couscous salad with creamy feta and cherry tomatoes.
