2021 Domaine Pelaquie Tavel Rose - Rhone Valley, France (750ml)

Domaine Pelaquie comes from the Rosé-only Tavel AOC within the Cotes du Rhone. This wine has a few hours of maceration with skin to achieve deeper color and higher tannic structure. Expect a bit more body and flavor than a lighter colored rosé, but still with good acidity. Flavors of fresh strawberry and raspberry are followed by hints of green leaves and flowers. It’s well balanced with tight minerality in the finish. Pair with roast chicken or grilled sesame tofu.
