2021 Barbichette Wines Claro Que Si! Riesling Pet Nat - Seneca Lake, New York (750ml)

Barbichette is the winemaking project of Cafe Integral’s César Vega and Louisiane Remy that had its first release in 2020. Sourcing grapes from sustainable farms in the finger lakes, they vinify with no additives right here in the Pfizer building in Brooklyn. This pet nat is made from 100% Riesling and is very dry and lean, with bright citrus notes and flinty minerality and a whiff of petrol. The first Brooklyn-made wine to hit our shelves, pair with quintessential BK foods like a Nathan’s hot dog, or alongside Bagels and Lox (and maybe a pour-over made with beans from Cafe Integral) at brunch.
