2020 Pittnauer 'Pitti' - Burgenland, Austria (750ml)

Pitti is a delicious, easy-drinking biodynamic red blend of 50% Zweigelt, 40% Blaufrankisch and 10% Merlot with bright cherry flavors, floral notes and minerality from the deep limestone soils of the Austrian hillsides. The grapes are manually harvested at optimal ripenss and fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts to create a living, natural wine that’s reminiscent of a higher end Beaujolais with just enough of a dry, tannic finish to stand up to heartier fare. Try pairing with schnitzel, spatzle and sausages!
