2020 Domaine Georges Lignier Bourgogne Passetoutgrain - Burgundy, France (750ml)

This is a traditional field blend of the Passetoutgrain Appellation within Burgundy made from two thirds Pinot Noir and one third Gamay. The Domaine practices the French farming principle of Lute Resoneé–the reasonable fight–chemical free whenever possible but using some low-impact treatments if necessary. The grapes are harvested and fermented separately in stainless steel before blending. The result is a spectacularly fresh and light-bodied wine with intense herbaceous aromatics and notes of blackberries and granite minerality. Serve alongside veggie gratin or roasted chicken.
